Therapy Approach
By using a psychodynamic approach, I help clients identify recurring patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and beliefs and gain insight into their current lives and early life experiences. I also combine interventions from cognitive behavioral therapy to challenge clients’ distortions in thinking and help them learn skills to reduce anxiety, depression, and many other psychological difficulties.
When working with children, I also utilize my music therapy background to create bonds and access deeper communication tools.
I have witnessed my clients having made extraordinarily deep and incredible changes to intractable issues they never imagined overcoming when they were fully heard, supported, and validated. I hope to continue helping clients connect the dots of their lives, become accepting of themselves, and lead healthier lives by providing a caring heart and applying my professional experience.
