Therapy Approach

Starting therapy can take courage, and joining this vulnerable yet beautiful journey with clients is a privilege. My goal is to create a warm and safe space where trust and freedom can be experienced. Rooted in Person-Centered Therapy, I respect clients’ life experiences and values. I collaborate with clients to help them find their sense of agency and enrich their lives, and I believe that my clients hold a key to change and healing.

My primary approach is called Object Relations Therapy, acknowledging that early childhood experiences shape our present interactions and relationships. Life encompasses both good and bad aspects, and so does every person. Embracing these contrasting aspects and re-experiencing secure relationships in therapy ultimately leads us to freedom and growth.

For couples, I use Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT) to assist them in exploring their emotions and attachment needs, and in communicating these with their partners using empathy and compassion. Alongside EFT, I incorporate Bowen Family Systems into family therapy to help clients understand their family dynamics and patterns, leading to healthy relationships with boundaries.

I offer Christian faith-based counseling for clients who wish to integrate spirituality into the therapeutic process, finding deeper meaning and purpose in life.
